I shouldn’t assume things. I recently put together what I thought was a very good and funny ad, but it didn’t work out that way!

Basically the ad was asking for brides to get in touch with a DJ (me) who is seeking a bride to be, this was supposed to be a spoof of a personals advert. Anyway it turns out not everyone knows what GSOH means, my friend didn’t and neither did my girlfriend, I pulled the advert.

By the way GSOH means good sense of humor, but you knew that right?

Happy Easter! Very busy weekend Thursday saw me at the Hilton Double Tree Chester for the wedding of Kelly and Jon. We all had a fantastic night and I got to play a lot of great songs I wouldn’t normally play thanks to Jon being a big fan of indie music. The Hilton Double Tree is an amazing venue and I would highly recommend it as a wedding reception venue. I have tried to attach a pic of the first dance, I’m posting from my iPhone so hope this works! Saturday I was at the holiday inn for the wedding of Nicola and Ben where motown seemed to be the genre of the night. Sunday I was in Newcastle so a pretty hectic weekend!

Just been to have a look at The Commercial Hotel Chester im the DJ for my friends 30th there on Sat. I must say that after a refurb and a nice facelift (they have obviously spent a lot of money on it) that it looks amazing an exceptional venue to host a Wedding, Birthday Party or just to go for a few drinks! Long time no post..

Please forgive me it has been a very busy last few months over November and December here at King of Discos HQ. I hope you have had a fantastic christmas and wish you and yours well for 2010. Quick update another fantastic wedding last weekend at a beautiful location once again a marquee in the grounds of Pentrehobyn Hall North Wales http://www.pentrehobyn.co.uk no pictures im afraid take it from though Sally looked lovely and Cliff also looked stunning! What can I say we had a great night you guys know how to party!! Congratulations to my friends Jenny and Mark, it is their big day today! They are to be married at a beautiful church in Bunbury, Chester, Cheshire and then we are off to Carden Park for the wedding reception im attending as a guest and am also their wedding dj for the reception. I will post some pictures over the weekend looking forward to it hope the weather is nice!

I am also at the holiday inn tomorrow for a wedding so a good weekend ahead. Looking forward to getting people up off their bums should be fun!

Had a very busy weekend. Friday saw me at Emma and Simon’s wedding much dancing ensued and everyone had a wonderful time! Saturday was a surprise 50th golden wedding anniversary I was honoured to be the DJ for Margaret and Malcolm’s celebration. It was organised by their daughter Bernadette and was a wonderful occasion, a relative of the families Clive was scheduled to sing and did about 3 twenty minute slots he was excellent although in his seventies now and retired from the singing circuit he has not lost his touch he was fantastic!

I also received an email from Nicola and Keith over the weekend with some kind comments and thanks for my services at their wedding a couple of weeks ago. It was a great evening and everyone was really up for it so I had an easy night as they were up dancing from the off! Below is the email they sent me its always fantastic to hear back from people im so glad they had a wonderful evening.

Hi Mike,

Just wanted to say a big thankyou for rocking our night do on 7th August. You certainly did as promised and got bums off seats and onto the dance floor! Everyone has said they had a brilliant night. We have kept your card and would not hesitate to recommend you.

I seem to be addicted to buying domain names I must have about 40 now. Ok I admit it “My name is Michael and im an addict”.  Bedtime now im tired mwh and I had a rather exhausting gym workout earlier and its past 1am now, I can tell im writing drivel again.  g’night jon-boy.
