Following on from my meeting this morning with Chesters Dee 106.3 I am pleased to announce that King Of Discos will be in attendance at their Bridal and Wedding Fayre. If you are planning your Wedding in Chester then please come down to the Ramada Chester Hotel on February 21st 2010 from 11am where we will be more than happy to discuss your entertainment requirements. Long time no post..

Please forgive me it has been a very busy last few months over November and December here at King of Discos HQ. I hope you have had a fantastic christmas and wish you and yours well for 2010. Im hoping to be able to make an exciting announcement on Monday after a meeting in the am! (that means in the morning). Quick update another fantastic wedding last weekend at a beautiful location once again a marquee in the grounds of Pentrehobyn Hall North Wales http://www.pentrehobyn.co.uk no pictures im afraid take it from though Sally looked lovely and Cliff also looked stunning! What can I say we had a great night you guys know how to party!! Thanks also to the band 50 Hertz http://www.myspace.com/50hertzrock you guys rock! if you are looking for a top band that play the likes of Oasis, Kings of Leon etc in the Chester, Cheshire, Mold or North Wales area then get in touch with them. Update to follow tomorrow another wedding and a corporate event im really looking forward to on Saturday at M&S Money, Chester.

What a weekend Carden Park is a lovely venue for weddings my friends Jenny and Mark had an amazing day and now they are on their honeymoon in the Maldives! lucky or what!! I was the wedding DJ for them so I was concentrating on making sure they had a great time which is why there is a lack of pictures. However you can see that we had an amazing set-up and the room looked great with the lighting truss the hotel allowed Paul to put up, the shooting lodge really benefited from the additional lighting and elegant up lighting which helped create a fantastic mood for the evening along with a great atmosphere during the wedding reception meal.

Thanks must go to Carden Park who allowed us to party until about 4am, yes I did DJ for that long, however my friend Andy did take over for a stint on the decks which we had in situ!

Congratulations to my friends Jenny and Mark, it is their big day today! They are to be married at a beautiful church in Bunbury, Chester, Cheshire and then we are off to Carden Park for the wedding reception im attending as a guest and am also their wedding dj for the reception. I will post some pictures over the weekend looking forward to it hope the weather is nice!

I am also at the holiday inn tomorrow for a wedding so a good weekend ahead. Looking forward to getting people up off their bums should be fun!

Since mid August I have been the Wedding DJ for Emma and Simon’s special day in at the Holiday Inn Chester, worked with a fantastic singer for a 50th Wedding Anniversary and been over to Manchester to DJ for the wedding of Victoria and Andrew which was a brilliant night I have the pictures to prove it! Victoria’s family are Armenian and gave me some Armenian and Arabic music to play which went down a storm, her Dad is a brilliant guy giving a very funny speech, one of those fantastic people that im lucky enough to meet on my travels.

Victoria booked me after attending her friend Natalie’s wedding where I was the DJ I had some great feedback from Natalie as well that was another top night! Here is what Natalie had to say about the evening.

What a day! we had a wonderful wedding day and thank you for making it such a great evening of music! the guests and staff loved it. Thank you so much for carrying on to 1am. The staff commented that you were the best DJ they had heard and the dance floor was packed, you did everything we had asked for and responded well to everyones wants! My friend Victoria has booked you for her wedding in September, I look forward to another great evening!”

Had a very busy weekend. Friday saw me at Emma and Simon’s wedding much dancing ensued and everyone had a wonderful time! Saturday was a surprise 50th golden wedding anniversary I was honoured to be the DJ for Margaret and Malcolm’s celebration. It was organised by their daughter Bernadette and was a wonderful occasion, a relative of the families Clive was scheduled to sing and did about 3 twenty minute slots he was excellent although in his seventies now and retired from the singing circuit he has not lost his touch he was fantastic!

I also received an email from Nicola and Keith over the weekend with some kind comments and thanks for my services at their wedding a couple of weeks ago. It was a great evening and everyone was really up for it so I had an easy night as they were up dancing from the off! Below is the email they sent me its always fantastic to hear back from people im so glad they had a wonderful evening.

Hi Mike,

Just wanted to say a big thankyou for rocking our night do on 7th August. You certainly did as promised and got bums off seats and onto the dance floor! Everyone has said they had a brilliant night. We have kept your card and would not hesitate to recommend you.
