Another weekend of fun weddings, birthdays and more weddings in Chester and Manchester. More details to follow and pictures (because I know you love pictures) soon. Briefly I was in Chester for Lindsay’s 30th birthday on Friday what a fantastic night that was, I also provided mood lighting and venue up-lighting at Rowton Hall in Chester for Julia’s wedding reception. Saturday I was at the Holiday Inn for Tracey & Darren’s Wedding and Sunday I was in Manchester for my second Armenian wedding reception which are fantastic events to DJ at! Congratulations to Sevan & Sakis have a great live together I know you are going to have fun in Sweden good luck with the big move!

Wedding Lighting

Congratulations to Emma and Andy who had a wonderful day at Carden Park near Chester they booked my Wedding DJ and Disco services and it was a scream! We carried on until about 1.15am and I played a few last ones for the girls mainly dance tunes Swedish House Mafia which went down well and then I played one for the boys to end with acdc as Andy is a big rock fan.

Emma’s Dad rang me yesterday to say they all had an amazing night and that his wife was dancing all night haha!! It is always a pleasure to work for such nice people who are up for a great time and a fun party. It was also very nice of Emma’s Dad to call and thank me for my efforts. Things are very busy for me at the moment and next year 2011 is looking like being one of my busiest years ever in the 15+ years I have been providing DJ and Discos especially with the Mood Uplighting this is proving to be very popular at Weddings.

I see this only fools and horses del trotter van parked up in Chester all the time. How would you fancy being driven to your wedding in that! Maybe not it would probably break down!

Happy Easter! Very busy weekend Thursday saw me at the Hilton Double Tree Chester for the wedding of Kelly and Jon. We all had a fantastic night and I got to play a lot of great songs I wouldn’t normally play thanks to Jon being a big fan of indie music. The Hilton Double Tree is an amazing venue and I would highly recommend it as a wedding reception venue. I have tried to attach a pic of the first dance, I’m posting from my iPhone so hope this works! Saturday I was at the holiday inn for the wedding of Nicola and Ben where motown seemed to be the genre of the night. Sunday I was in Newcastle so a pretty hectic weekend!

Just been to have a look at The Commercial Hotel Chester im the DJ for my friends 30th there on Sat. I must say that after a refurb and a nice facelift (they have obviously spent a lot of money on it) that it looks amazing an exceptional venue to host a Wedding, Birthday Party or just to go for a few drinks! What a weekend Carden Park is a lovely venue for weddings my friends Jenny and Mark had an amazing day and now they are on their honeymoon in the Maldives! lucky or what!! I was the wedding DJ for them so I was concentrating on making sure they had a great time which is why there is a lack of pictures. However you can see that we had an amazing set-up and the room looked great with the lighting truss the hotel allowed Paul to put up, the shooting lodge really benefited from the additional lighting and elegant up lighting which helped create a fantastic mood for the evening along with a great atmosphere during the wedding reception meal.

Thanks must go to Carden Park who allowed us to party until about 4am, yes I did DJ for that long, however my friend Andy did take over for a stint on the decks which we had in situ!

Congratulations to my friends Jenny and Mark, it is their big day today! They are to be married at a beautiful church in Bunbury, Chester, Cheshire and then we are off to Carden Park for the wedding reception im attending as a guest and am also their wedding dj for the reception. I will post some pictures over the weekend looking forward to it hope the weather is nice!

I am also at the holiday inn tomorrow for a wedding so a good weekend ahead. Looking forward to getting people up off their bums should be fun!

Since mid August I have been the Wedding DJ for Emma and Simon’s special day in at the Holiday Inn Chester, worked with a fantastic singer for a 50th Wedding Anniversary and been over to Manchester to DJ for the wedding of Victoria and Andrew which was a brilliant night I have the pictures to prove it! Victoria’s family are Armenian and gave me some Armenian and Arabic music to play which went down a storm, her Dad is a brilliant guy giving a very funny speech, one of those fantastic people that im lucky enough to meet on my travels.

Victoria booked me after attending her friend Natalie’s wedding where I was the DJ I had some great feedback from Natalie as well that was another top night! Here is what Natalie had to say about the evening.

What a day! we had a wonderful wedding day and thank you for making it such a great evening of music! the guests and staff loved it. Thank you so much for carrying on to 1am.
